So this is my report. I am not going to write much about panels because I’ve seen a gazillion videos on Superwiki (I love JIBcon staff for not caring whether we take videos).
FRIDAY
There is not much to talk about Friday, I barely was at any of the panels because I was too busy running around like a headless chicken trying to get most of the photo ops and autographs and I gotta say I succeeded, which gave me some pretty calm time on Saturday and Sunday. I had photo ops with Richard, Chad, Mark and Sebastian, and got all theirs and Rob’s and Jared’s autographs.
Once again kudos to @Nimloth87 who made the art for my autographs. Saying all the guys loved it would be an understatement xDDDDD
Sebastian spent good two minutes looking through it. He asked if I drew this and I was like “No, my friend, she’s here at the convention” and he said to get her because he wants to meet her and I was like “I haven’t met her yet” xDDDD He was confused and I had to explain she’s an Internet friend. I was actually the only one at his table cos everyone was lining up to Richard so we talked for a while, he was writing my name and asked where I was from and I said I’m half-Polish, he started talking in Polish and he’s really great at it, he barely has any accent I actually fell in love with Sebastian over the con, he’s amazing and really smart and interesting. Before I knew him I thought he’s the typical celebrity jerk who just wants to get more followers and be popular but he’s absolutely not. Yes he’s egoistic and kind of an attention whore but in a lovely way.
Richard recognized our bunch from last year and he called for Sebastian who was sitting at the next autograph table and was like “Hey Sebastian, here’s the Russian girls I told you about!” xDDDDD We asked Sebastian later at the cocktail party what he heard about us and he was like “Only good things”. LIAR. xD
I’m not a Jared girl but I think by the next convention I will get a photo op with him because I’m slowly falling for him every time I meet him. xD Last time the queue was moving really quickly and you could barely say a word to him but this time it was more relaxed and Jared was in a very good mood, laughing and grinning at everybody, and I actually got to talk to him for a few seconds. He paused to look at the art, then laughed and said it’s really funny, asked me where I got it and I said a friend drew this, he was like, “Wow” and then signed it. He’s absolutely not my type but his smile is so warm and friendly I kinda melted on the inside.
Oh. Here are my Friday photo ops.
So the day was awesome but I was feeling kinda sad at the same time because I didn’t see Misha and I really really missed him. I was waiting outside for 3 hours for them to return from the Roman Holiday just to catch a glimpse of my favourite Overlord but I guess they brought them in through another entrance. I was looking forward to see him at the cocktail party but we got Jared and Genevieve instead and I wasn’t too excited about it. Oh well.
So about the cocktail party. I have to say kudos to the con staff for the way it was organized this year, they timed every time a guest sat at someone’s table to make sure everybody gets to meet every guest. We were all sitting together at the “Russian table”, again, and it was awesome Had tons of laughs. Jason was first at our table, he showed off with his Russian and we tried to teach him some more xDDD Then we took some pictures.
Mark said he’s 95% certain about season 7. I’m on the same page with him about it but it was nice to hear another confirmation, albeit unofficial. He also taught us how to say “Crowley” with an English accent. xD
Chad sat down at our table, looked at the flag in the middle and immediately went “Ooooh I’ve heard about this table. This is the trouble table. But good trouble.” xDDD
We demanded Richard to tell us what he apparently told the whole fucking cast about our bunch but he said it’s just good things. Yeah right. xD Then there was lots of hugging and pictures.
Then Jared crashed the cocktail party with Gen. He didn’t come to any tables, he just kinda walked around the room and people came up to him to talk.
Then Sebastian and Richard met in the middle of the room and Sebastian decided to kiss him and grab his boobs. They aren’t making things any difficult for us, are they?
Sebastian is a great kisser. xD I think he kissed everyone at the convention at least once, which is totally okay for him I guess since he’s single anyway.
Rob said we’re his favourite table. But maybe he was telling this to every table so there’s no knowing. xDDDD Anyway, there was loads of kissing. Again.
We took pictures with Julie who is lovely and amazing at helping organize everything and making sure everybody has fun.
I asked her if Misha’s okay because I was worried for him, heard he was coughing at the Roman Holiday and I thought maybe he’s sick and he couldn’t make it to the party. But she said he was just really tired cos West was crying all the night before and he couldn’t get him to sleep. Aww. So yeah I missed Misha a lot but I understand he needed some sleep that evening. Still here’s a picture of me being really sad about it.
I cheered up a lot though when we went to the bar. There were Jason, Chad, Richard, Rob and of course Sebastian. Loads of talking and drinking and taking more pictures.
We got Sebastian and Rob to wear the sock monkey hats. After they did it we told them they’re Misha’s minions now. I think they mentally facepalmed. xD
After everyone else went to bed it was just our bunch and Sebastian sitting around one table (with half of us scattered on the floor at his feet which really amused him I think). I believe somebody tweeted a picture of “Sebastian and his harem” but I’m not sure who, if you find it I’d love to see.
We talked about everything. Countries we’ve visited, Russian theater and poetry, Seb’s ex-wife, rock climbing, relationships, philosophy, the cast of Supernatural (he’s really fangirly about Misha. He tried to hide it but fuck yeah I KNEW. He called Misha really smart and funny but it’s not like that’s something we don’t know).
As the night went on the topics kinda shifted to sex, threesomes, gays and lesbians, guys enjoying seeing girls kiss, girls enjoying reading slashfic, at which point Sebastian stated he’s totally straight and declared “I love vaginas!” and our brains pretty much exploded.
We’ve been sitting at the bar till 3am just chatting and I gotta say Seb’s a really smart and interesting person and I feel lucky we got the chance to hang out with him. Although next morning we were all downstairs in sunglasses because we got like what, 4 hours of sleep in the end? xDDD Oh fuck it.
SATURDAY
Saturday started off crazy. The opening ceremony went late which is why my meet&greet with Richard happened when Misha’s panel was already going on. I’m not sure why I bought this m&g in the first place since I already got the chance to talk to Richard on Friday but oh well. I’m really sorry I love Richard a lot but I was sitting there just waiting for it to end because I needed to get to Misha’s panel. I ran like hell and thankfully managed to get there on time and even close enough to the mic to ask a question.
I was really really nervous but then when the person in front of me was asking a question he glanced at me for less than a second and gave me a small recognizing smile and that’s it, I was calm in an instant. Two questions later he greeted me with the usual “Hi how are you” in Russian everything was suddenly okay in the world. I have no idea how this person manages to toy with my emotions like that. I’m sure there are videos on youtube already, so I’m the one asking about his childhood play and telling him about the Sweater mob. @westofserenity, he didn’t specifically give permission but from his answer I got that he wouldn’t mind us seeing it, so if you could upload this for us to see it would be amazing
After asking the question I ran like hell because I wanted to get Genevieve’s autograph and it was almost 11am, I caught a staff member and said I want one, he was like “Yes go quickly” and I ran into the room.
Gen was at the signing table with Jared and already going to leave, I ran up to her, asked if she could sign for me and she smiled and said of course. She is absolutely adorable. I asked if she could write my name and she had her attention at the staff member who was telling her something in that moment, and then she turns back to me and goes all “Oh I’m so sorry, you were saying something!” I repeat and she takes the card and starts writing my name.
As she does that Jared the moose leans his massive body over the table to look and goes “Wow. How do you pronounce that?” I told him and explained I’m half-Polish and he grins and goes, “My grandmother is from Poland. I’m Jared Padale(s)cki!” I’m like, “Yeh I know” xDDDDD Then he said his grandma is from Katowice and I was like “OMG no way I was raised there” then for some reason I started telling him how nice the city looks today and I don’t know if he was interested but he listened anyway xD Gen’s done with my autograph and hands it back to me and I say “Thank you so much”, and then I’m looking at her and thinking, ah, what the hell, and I just add “You’re so beautiful.” She smiles and says “Oh thank you, you too!” and then Jared kinda glares at me and goes “Hey, she’s mine!” (obviously it was a joke cuz he was laughing). I’m like “Okay okay Jared” xD and then I said thanks again and they said bye and left. For me to just stand there and fangirl for about five minutes because they are the most adorable couple in the universe and everyone who says different I’ll punch in the fucking face.
I ran for Jensen’s panel then (Jeez there was a lot of running that day); I asked the question about pranks and I was kinda disappointed really they didn’t do anything xDDDDD They probably prank each other so much April Fool’s is just another day so. LOL. But he promised he’d do something next year right? I was already leaving and I cannot remember xD
I missed Jared’s panel to go to Jensen’s photo op so I’ll have to watch that one later. Jensen smells like heaven and rainbows. Seriously.
After Jensen’s photo op I go outside for a smoke and it suddenly hits me that I finally saw Misha, I think it was just an emotional overload because I was waiting for him for the whole fucking Friday and he never showed up and I was worried I’d miss his panel because of the m&g and then I got to chat with him at the panel; and I just start fucking crying like a baby for the next five minutes. I don’t know if it even qualifies as crying because I was talking to people normally and my voice wasn’t shaking or anything; there were just two streams of tears from my eyes going non-stop and it looked pretty hilarious I imagine. xDDDDD
Then I remember I only have one photo op with Misha and I wanna do the cosplay on that, and I don’t even hesitate as I walk to the cash machine and withdraw 70 euros to buy another one.
After Sebastian’s panel we were getting our Trio photo ops with Jared, Jensen and Misha, and someone said “Can we do something funny?” in front and it spread like a disease, everyone started asking for funny pictures so when I came up I was like, “Hey what the hell, I’ll go for something funny”. I had no idea what J2 were doing because I had them behind me (but you can see it here of course); but Misha climbed on the side of my chair and I don’t know what he was trying to do and why he was sticking his boobs in my face but I enjoyed it. xD
To be honest I thought I would hyperventilate and die surrounded by three most beautiful men in the universe but it was nothing like it. I guess with every time you meet them you start seeing things differently. It’s not that your fangirlishness gets diminished in any way; I guess it’s like marriage, the feelings are still there are they are growing stronger day by day but they are also much calmer than on a first date. I love these guys so much it’s unspeakable but I’m no longer so panicked and worried being around them, I feel comfortable around them all because they are just normal people. Amazing in many different ways and worth being fascinated with, but just people. This was my favourite convention partly because I could actually enjoy conversing with them instead of suffering from shaky knees and voice and temporary blackouts.
So anyway, then I go to the front of the queue for Misha’s op and just stand there, missing the whole J2 panel (but it’s okay cos I saw videos later). I didn’t even care, I just wanted to hug Misha right the fuck now; scratch “want”, I needed that like motherfucking air.
I come up to him and he greets me the usual way; I hand him one of the hats; he puts it on and asks whether I made them, I say no I bought them. He threw his arm around me and it wasn’t until I was already hugging him close when I remembered I didn’t ask if I could; I usually do because just coming up and hugging the guys seems weird, I mean we don’t really know them. With Misha it wasn’t for some reason, in fact he just fucking leaned on me with his whole weight and that grin (which obviously I only saw when I got the photo) that can seem half-creepy half-scary to people who don’t know Misha’s grins and cannot tell creepy from amused and sincere, but it’s insanely beautiful to me.
And I could just stand like this for ages but unfortunately it only takes a second to do the picture and so I let go of him, he grins at me and I stand there waiting for him to take off and give me the hat. Instead he bows his head towards me and I realize he’s waiting for me to take it off, so I did. He asked “How’s my hair now” and of course my answer was “Perfect as always” because fuck yeah it’s perfect even after it gets messy from the hat. xDDD Then I left. To get Jensen’s autograph and die a little while waiting for it.
That few seconds at the photo op was a big moment for me really: a moment when I finally figured out all my feelings for Misha. He’s fucking gorgeous and sexy. He has an amazing body and big blue eyes that just say “Hey come to my bed”. He takes my breath away sometimes. I love him. But I don’t want him; I’m not in love with him. I wish he were my father. That’s why whenever I meet him sex with him is the last thing that could come to my mind. Every time all I want to do is just hug him close and bury my face in his shoulder and never let go. He is everything my dad never was, and Jesus fucking Christ, West Anaximander Collins, you have no idea how fucking jealous I am of you. Well hello there daddy issues. Never thought I’d face them in such a way. How fucked up is this. Ignore me.
In the evening there was Jason’s concert. I always love his concerts even though his music is absolutely different from what I usually listen to. He puts so much soul into his singing I cannot help but love it. He offered us to sit in front of the stage and it was amazing because we got the very first row; everyone was sitting on the floor together and it felt as homey as at the Asylum.
Then of course we went to the bar again, hung out there with Jason for some time, had drinks and went to bed really late. Again. LMAO.
SUNDAY
Sunday was pretty calm and less eventful than the previous days. But it was very important because it started with Misha’s meet&greet. I was really looking forward to it and these are the best 250 euros I ever spent.
As Misha came in he walked around the table greeting everyone and as he came up to me he went, “Nice sweater.” I kept my best poker face on when I said “Thank you”. xDDDD Then he sat down on the free chair next to me. And I got to sit next to this beautiful creature for the next 20 minutes. *Gasp*
Noone really knew what to ask in the beginning, everyone was still sleepy. Someone asked him about West, I don’t remember what but turns out he cannot sleep without Peaches CDs and the girl promised to give Misha a USB drive with the songs. Then there was another awkward pause so Misha turned to me, asked “What do you have here?” and grabbed the album I was holding (I didn’t plan on giving it to him until later because I didn’t want to take other people’s question time but Misha ruined my plan, not that I’m complaining). So I told him “This is the flashmob I told you about earlier”.
He really loved the doll, @maigune. I believe the direct quote was “What the fuck. That’s amazing”. He paused for a few seconds on my page and I hope to god he wasn’t actually reading because I really didn’t want him to see it until after the convention. The thing is, after the photo op on Saturday I just grabbed a random Hilton paper piece, wrote down quite an emotional note on what he means to me (I’m sorry I won’t share it here, it’s quite personal) and stuck in on my page in the last moment. So yeah I really wasn’t planning on seeing him again after he’s read it. Anyway, he flipped through some more pages and said it’s hilarious and awesome. He LOL’d at the fact that the sweater is now sold out everywhere and thought American Eagle should pay him money for this. xD He pointed out it’s a really beautiful sweater though. Then he remembered there are actually people waiting to ask questions and promised to have a closer look later.
The rest was pretty usual. We talked a bit about the show, behind the scenes, Stonehenge Apocalypse, the disaster in Japan; I’ll post my friend’s audio later if she’s okay with it. It got really relaxed and nice by the end, we were all chatting and laughing; too bad it had to end soon. He stood up, said his goodbyes to everyone, said it in Russian for us and left.
Misha and Sebastian panel was all about maxipads which I’m sure you all watched already but I was standing there peeing my pants, seriously. Then I asked the question about Balthazar’s 4 faces just for the lulz (or because I like seeing Misha’s “oh hey you again” face). A lion/horse/muffin/canary is truly a scary being.
Then we went for Misha’s autograph and it was not so much for getting his scribble as to give him the gifts and sing him a song that we wanted to do at the cocktail party like last year but he wasn’t there so. It’s a Russian song which is actually called “Mishka” (a variation of Misha’s name) and the lyrics go “Misha Misha where’s your smile, full of joy and fire; the biggest mistake you’re making is that you’re leaving me”. We only have an audio of this (I’ll ask if I can post it) but Misha was literally glowing.
We gave him the ARM (Alliance of Russian-speaking Minions) flag and hand-made matryoshkas which he started looking through immediately and his exact words were “Oh my god you’re fucking kidding me that’s amazing shut the fuck up”. xDDDDDD The matryoshkas are Misha, Castiel, Jacob, Alexis and West; at first Misha thought it's him as a child and when we said it’s West he was all “oh my god you guys”. They were made by @lidianoona. I think he really loved it.
We then gave him stuff to sign and asked to personalize them and a staff member tried to stop Misha saying he shouldn’t because there’s no time but I think he said something like “I’m sorry but I can’t not do it for them”. Winning. So we all got our autographs personalized.
In the afternoon I had my second photoop with Misha. It didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted because the sweater collar got in the way but it still looks pretty cool and Misha said it would make a nice Christmas card. I’ll remember that, Mish. This Christmas you’re getting this as a card.
As for the Cockles panel… I was waiting for it for obvious reasons, and Jensen and Misha didn’t disappoint, they have an amazing chemistry and they were absolutely hilarious together; but honestly, the more I meet these people the less interesting it is for me to ship them because they are making it all too easy. All the hugs and the looks they share and the smiles, and I’m not just talking about Jensen/Misha now but all possible combinations of Sebastian, Richard, Rob and Jared who were hugging and kissing non-stop at the cocktail party. I’ll probably get back to writing some fanfic later on but for now I can’t even ship them. They look so comfortable being affectionate with other men they can’t be anything but straight. I’m sorry. I’ll be back guys but for now I’m drifting off to het land where my new favourite moment is Jensen saying the one person he’d sell his soul to save is his wife. And don’t you dare tell me it was all an act. I believe him; I believe he loves her very very much.
Finally I took a picture with Rob (as if I didn’t already have 2!) and it’s one of my favourites now.
So then there was the Steve concert and then we were drinking a lot at the bar. The end.
Oh wait it’s not. We also went to Jason’s concert on Tuesday and quite a few fans including Jus in Bello staff and it was a very warm reunion. Jason kept talking about us meeting next year and Daniela kept facepalming but we all know it’s totally going to happen, right?
